Finn Turns to Li For Help With Sheila — and Electra Dumps Will More Definitively

At the beach house, Electra can’t believe Will expects her to just pick up as though nothing happened. He made out with her best friend last night. “God, you’re a pig!”

Will apologizes for hurting Electra, but needs to know they can get back to the two of them. Making horrified faces, Electra whines that this isn’t the first time he’s turned to Dylan. Will wants to focus on them. It’s never too late. Does she believe in them too?

They go back and forth about his night with Dylan. Electra questions why he’d be with someone else if he believed there was a chance for them. Will thought it was over then, but realized that it can’t be. He’s miserable because they’re not together. She can fix that by coming back. Electra snivels that she wishes she could, but she can’t.

Will complains that Electra’s family is trying to control her and tell her who she can and cannot love. “Follow your heart.” Electra did when she came back the last time, but he attacked RJ and Eric and let his mother ruin her show! Her family is right about him and they want what’s best for her. This is killing her but she can’t get back with him.

Unfair

In the design office at Forrester, RJ lectures Dylan about betraying her friend and then telling her about it. Dylan argues that Electra ended things with Will. They debate whether Electra’s rules for Dylan were unfair or not. Dylan has been a good friend to Electra and wanted to be honest. RJ’s stunned she told Electra that she’s in love with Will.

Dylan argues that Electra can’t act like Will’s still hers when she ended things. RJ has to agree; she should move on. But she expected Dylan to act like her best friend. Dylan complains that she gave her orders and behaved as though only her feelings mattered. In the end, she slapped her!

An Admission

In Finn’s office, he tells Li that Steffy was incredibly upset at home. She guesses it had to do with Sheila. She knows about their run-in and knows Sheila is desperate for a place in his life. Finn says she can’t have it… there’s no way Steffy will allow it.

Li wants to know how her son feels about it all. Finn can see all sides of it but reiterates that Steffy will always see Sheila as a threat. Li thinks he feels Sheila deserves a chance. Finn admits he tried to get Steffy to consider it. Sheila not blowing up over Taylor and Deacon convinced him she’d changed.

Finn and Li agree that it would be safer to have supervised contact with Sheila than isolating her. That said, Finn’s going to give Steffy whatever she needs to feel safe. He’ll always put his wife first.

The Final Scenes

Still in Finn’s office, Li agrees that Steffy must come first. He asks his mother to try and drive that message home to Sheila. Li hopes she’ll respect it. Finn frets that Steffy’s already stressed to the limit. If Sheila doesn’t step back, he doesn’t know what Steffy will do.

At Forrester, Dylan anticipates Electra getting her fired. They go over Electra dumping Will. Dylan says they always break each other’s hearts and don’t belong together. RJ agrees. Dylan should be with Will. She muses, “And maybe you’re a better fit for Electra.”

At the beach house, Electra loves Will’s belief that they can get through anything, but she can’t get back with him. It always ends in tears, and something always comes between them. She cries, “You were my first love.” Maybe the families are right: The Forresters and Spencers don’t mix (drink!).

Will protests but Electra thinks it’s only a matter of time before he goes all the way with Dylan. She’ll love him from afar. Electra cannot continue to put herself through this. “So, goodbye, Will. Goodbye.” With that, she leaves.
