Katie Goes In On ‘Melissa’ With Both Barrels — Plus, Steffy Supports Daphne and Carter

At the beach house, Dylan’s confused by Katie’s accusations. She cares about her good friend Will. Katie glares that Will and Electra are heartbroken… and she has a feeling she’s a large part of the reason why. “Will is more than just a friend to you… isn’t that right, Melissa?”

Katie’s sure that Dylan was hoping for more than a make-out session on the sofa. She’s curious what Melissa has to say for herself because she has a helluva lot to say to her. If only Dylan could get a word in edgewise!

Katie keeps ranting as Dylan tries to explain that Electra left Will multiple times and moved out. She understands her questioning her motives, but she really cares about her son. All she wants is to put a smile on his face. Katie smirks. They both know how she tried to do that. “Don’t we Melissa?” New drinking game unlocked – take a shot every time Katie says, “Melissa”!

Getting the Scoop

At Logan, Wyatt senses something is wrong with Will. He guesses this is about all the women in his life. He rants about Electra walking out on him again. Will admits she dumps him every other Tuesday… but he loves her.

Wyatt hates seeing Will so down and asks if he’s talked to his parents. Will says his mom is concerned… mostly about Dylan. Wyatt frowns, “Who is Dylan?” Will explains that she’s the Nancy he met the other day. Wyatt says she was sweet and cute. “It’s complicated,” Will shrugs, reminding his brother that she used to live with him. She’s also Electra’s best friend. Wyatt guesses they’re not pals anymore.

Struggling

At Forrester, Zende and Carter chat about the business trip to Monaco. Talk turns to Carter’s personal life and Zende offers support. Carter admits he’s worried about his wife. He’s suffering too, but he doesn’t want Daphne to know. She doesn’t need to be worrying about him too.

Zende gives Carter a pep talk. Their love for each other will get them through.

In the main office, Steffy hugs Daphne and offers support. Daphne fears she won’t get over this. Steffy urges her to give it time. Daphne recaps that she can’t give Carter the child they so desperately want. Steffy asks Daphne to join her in Monaco. She can’t.

Steffy reminds Daphne that whatever she needs, she’s there for her. She has been doing some research and has learned that her diagnosis isn’t a zero chance. Daphne doesn’t want false hope… the chances are so low. Steffy reminds her that surrogacy and adoption are also possibilities. “I just know you’re going to get there.” It’s meant to be. They embrace. Daphne looks despondent.

Later, Carter connects with Steffy over a contract. She asks how he’s doing personally and lets him know he’s there for both him and Daphne.

The Final Scenes

Still in the main office, Carter thanks Steffy for her support. He never imagined they’d be going through this. Steffy learns that they’d already painted the nursery and found a changing table and crib… they arrived yesterday. Daphne was devastated. “It broke her. It broke me.” Steffy’s so sorry. She reminds him they’re lucky to have each other. He thanks her and they embrace.

At Logan, Wyatt asks Will how he feels about Dylan. He cares about her but he’s still in love with Electra. Wyatt feels that continuing to pine over the Forrester isn’t healthy. Things have a way of naturally working things out and he needs to trust that.

 At the beach house, Katie needles Dylan about wanting to “put a smile” on her son’s face (making it sound dirty). Dylan argues that Electra dumped Will and Eric and Ridge forbade her to be around him because Forresters and Spencers don’t mix. Drink!

Katie keeps mocking Dylan, who tries telling her she respects her and her family. She admits she has feelings for her son, who is a prince. She’s never met anyone like him and she never will. Katie, heavily implying she’s a gold-digger, accuses her of taking advantage of an opportunity. “I want answers and you’re going to give them to me. Who are you, Melissa Dylan? And what exactly do you want from my son?!”
