Sally Berates Billy After a Visit From Adam — Plus, Victor Surprises Nikki With a Vow Renewal
Wednesday, August 5, 2026: Today on The Young and the Restless, Matt lobs a veiled threat, Sally lays into Billy after Adam’s visit, and Nikki and Victor revew their vows.

At the Club, Cane overhears Matt leaving Phyllis a voicemail asking for new elevated attire to wear to Arabesque. He also wants a job title. Spotting Cane, he disconnects. Cane asks if he’ll use his old company to go after Victor.
Matt tries dodging the question until Cane makes him answer. Matt says there’s no plan. Ashby’s sure Victor is furious about him leaving the ranch and wonders why he hasn’t left town. Matt asks if it upsets him that Phyllis has Arabesque. Cane suggests they both share their cards.

They open up about being reformed bad guys. Cane confesses that people died because of him and he hurt a lot of people. Matt admits that his real history with the Newmans is a helluva lot worse than anything Ashby’s ever thought of doing and elaborates on his crimes.
Cane admits this is a lot to take in, and asks why he’s staying. Matt finds it difficult to say no to Phyllis. Cane grins knowingly and warns that the Newmans are a force to be reckoned with, and Phyllis is as cunning as they come. When she turns on you, it’s hell on earth. Matt’s not afraid.
Confrontation
Adam irks Sally by pounding on her door. He’s apologetic, but confronts her for telling Billy he bought Newman Media – she promised it would stay between them! Sally claims she didn’t have much choice. Adam complains that Billy ran to Victor. Sally admits this isn’t good.

She explains that Victoria told Billy about Newman Media. She tried to talk him down, but he ran straight to him. She guesses Adam spun it so that it looked as thought they made a deal behind Billy’s back. “You said you were going to be able to handle your father.”
Sally cracks that just because Adam lied to her, doesn’t mean she was going to lie to the person she loves. Adam gawps, “Really?” and explains that Billy has put her in jeopardy by opening his mouth. She needs to rein him in while he does damage control. Softening, Adam teases about her pregnancy cravings and asks about the baby. They’re smiling when Billy hollers, “What the hell are you doing in my house?”

Adam claims they were finalizing their deal. Billy guesses Victor’s all over his ass and he came to take it out on Sally. Billy rants until Adam tells him to shut his mouth. Undeterred, Billy taunts Adam until Sally intervenes. Adam exits and Billy asks if he upset her. Sally fumes, “This is not about Adam. This is about you!”
Sally lays into Billy for provoking Victor in a bid to stick it to Adam. Billy admits it felt good and shrugs that Victor goaded him into it. He won’t apologize for having her back. Sally erupts. He’s picked a fight that she doesn’t want to have! He said he was done with going after the Newmans. Did he not think about the repercussions for her?! Victor’s furious and may take it out on Spectra Charles!

Surprise!
Nikki returns to the ranch after a successful shopping trip and finds the place decked out in candles and roses. Victor hopes she hasn’t made plans for tonight. He pulls out the rock she gave him back when they split and puts it on her finger. “I wish you would marry me again.” She gushes, “I would marry you a thousand times over.”

Nick, Michael, Abby, Claire and Victoria walk into the room. Nikki runs over to Nick, who assures her that he’s on track and a little family time will do him good. Victor explains, “We’re getting married.” Michael will be the officiant. Nikki stuns the gathering by declaring that she can’t get married. Not like this. Not a chance!

It turns out Nikki just needs something to wear. Victor assures her there’s something upstairs. Victoria takes her mom to get ready and Michael pours drinks for Abby and Claire. Victor checks in with Nick, who asks about Adam. Victor admits they had a falling out and he’s not responding to his messages. They discuss Noah leaving and Nick admits it hit him hard.
Everyone chats until Nikki reappears in a stunning blue gown. Victor’s eyes well up at her beauty. “You take my breath away.” Michael starts the ceremony and they exchange personal vows. Victor admits the idea of losing her broke his heart. Nikki tells Victor she absolutely adores him… he is her world. Michael prompts Victor to put the wedding band back where it belongs and to kiss the bride.

Warning Shot
At the Club, Adam walks in and spots Cane with Matt. He wonders if Ashby is trying to get information about his dad and warns that Matt’s cover story was a sham. Clark informs him that he’s already bared his soul. Cane confirms, “All of it.” Adam warns Clark that once you cross his father you’re either a useful tool or the enemy. “Take it from someone who knows.”

The Final Scenes
At home, Billy apologizes to Sally, who’s going to need a lot more than that. He offers her a foot rub and she snaps. She did what she had to do to neutralize Victor’s threat against her company and he’s relit the fuse. “You better damn well find a way to put it out!” With that, she stalks out of the room.

At the Club, Adam urges Matt to get out of town. Clark’s not interested. He has a bag of tricks to defend himself. “I’m staying in town and I’d really appreciate it if you and your family would leave me alone.” He’d hate it if they force him to do something he would regret.

At the ranch, Abby makes a speech, hoping her love story with Devon can be half as inspiring as Victor and Nikki’s. Claire says they give her faith that true love isn’t just in fairytales. Michael raises a toast, and Victoria reminds them how hard she worked to make this happen. Nick chuckles that his sister always gets her way and stands to make the final speech about his parents’ example of love. It gives him much-needed peace. “Love can conquer all.”
