Josslyn Strikes a Deal That Will Set Jason Free — Plus, Lulu Realizes Who She *Really* Slept With!
Friday, July 3, 2026: In today’s General Hospital recap, Carly wants what she wants, Joss agrees to tell a lie, and Dante tells Lulu something shocking.

As Carly is freaking out about not being allowed to see Josslyn, Z is talking to the young agent. He says she was in surgery all night, Sidwell is in custody, and Cullum is dead. Z also reports that “Mr. Faison” — aka Cassius — is dead. (I’m not buying it, though. Are you?) Joss gives Z (and viewers who are perhaps turning in for the first time to see special guest John Oliver) a recap of everything that went down.

Z confirms that Valentin did, in fact, do exactly as he’d intended upon leaving Port Charles. He filled the WSB in on what Cullum was doing — essentially, making fools of the entire organization — and that’s why Z came riding in guns blazing. Joss tells the WSB head that his organization essentially looks hella bad thanks to everything that went down. They need her help, but it’s going to come at a price: She wants a full release for Valentin and Jason as well as all charges against them dropped. In exchange, she will tell a version of the truth which makes Cassius look fully responsible. Z tells Joss she’s quite impressive and that he suspects she’ll have a long future with the WSB.
Carly Wants Joss Out!
Lucas tells Carly that Joss is expected to make a full recovery. She catches him up on recent events, including the truth about the man they thought to be Nathan. Interestingly, Carly says that when she asked about Cassius, she was told his condition was “classified and under investigation.” Lucas admits he wanted Cullum to stand trial rather than be killed. As for Carly, she’s anxious for Josslyn to leave the WSB. Brennan tricked her into joining, and it’s filled with broken people like Anna and Valentin. Carly further explains that Joss’ feelings about Sonny helped push her into the WSB. As such, Carly feels like it’s her responsibility to get her daughter out.
Dante Stuns Lulu
Lulu and Dante bring Rocco home, and he immediately wants to reconnect with Britt. Needless to say, he gets fiesty upon learning that Britt was arrested, and by his dad, no less. Rocco insists Britt should be released, refusing to listen to anything Dante or Lulu says. Once he storms upstairs in a teenage snit, Dante shocks the heck out of Lulu by revealing Nathan was actually Cassius. She’s positively stunned as the truth sinks in. “The real Nathan? He would have never gotten involved with me. He wouldn’t have done that to Maxie,” she says, almost hyperventilating as she realizes what she’s done.

Rocco tells Lulu he’s going to go visit Britt, but she says that’s not possible at the moment. He also acknowledges that Britt has done bad things, but adds that “you can care for people who’ve made mistakes.” Lulu says she understands her son having feelings for Britt, and that everybody has basically made wrong decisions for good reasons.
Obrecht Lashes Out

Vaughan is suddenly back outta nowhere and takes a meeting with Britt, explaining he was reassigned. He tells her Cullum is dead and Sidwell has been arrested. Once he leaves, Obrecht visits her daughter with one big question: Why didn’t she reveal the truth about Cassius? Britt says that her mom was so thrilled to have Nathan back and she didn’t want to put her through losing him all over again. Obrecht is sad that Britt didn’t come to her and ask that she reverse engineer her medication. “What kind of relationship do we really have?” asks the distraught mom. Obrecht’s take away? That Britt doesn’t want them in one another’s life. Unaware of Cassius’ (supposed) fate, Obrecht says she’ll focus on the child who does want her around.
Bad News for Jason

At the police station, Vaughan meets with Charlotte, Danny and Molly, who makes it clear she’s not there as the assistant district attorney. Vaughan confirms that Jason is still in WSB custody. Charlotte, meanwhile, does herself no favors by revealing that she knows way more than she should, completely ignoring Molly’s advice. Danny, too, manages to put his foot in his mouth, insisting to Vaughan that he doesn’t think his dad is innocent of having shot Cullum, he knows it. How, exactly, does he know it, Vaughan asks. Ultimately, Vaughan says he can’t give any info on Jason or Valentin, and that they’ll be remaining in custody.
In the Final Moments…
Charlotte asks Lulu for help where Valentin is concerned. Dante visits Britt in her cell, revealing he had her arrested for her own protection. Now, however, her fate is in the hands of the WSB. Z heads to Brennan’s former office in search of the much-discussed black box. While he doesn’t find it, he does get a visit from Carly, who says she wants him to let Joss out of the WSB. And when Danny finally crosses paths with Rocco, they have heated words regarding the truth about Cullum’s shooting!
Next week on General Hospital, Carly suspects someone unexpected is trying to hit on her!
