Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Johnny Blames EJ for Chanel’s Cancer Following Arsenic Water Realization?
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that another confrontation may be coming up between EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), who’s already irritated with his dad for involving him in this tainted Coriseal cover-up.
The situation may get even worse if Johnny holds EJ responsible for Chanel Dupree DiMera’s (Raven Bowens) cancer now that she’s realized something awful.
In Days’ July 10 episode, Johnny filled Chanel in on arsenic being what was making Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) sick.
Chanel found out Holly ingested arsenic through the well water at the Horton cabin, which brought a horrifying thought.
Since Chanel has been doing a ton of research on cancer due to her current condition, she pointed out that arsenic is a major carcinogen.
Chanel then added that she drank water at the Horton cabin and has been diagnosed with cancer twice.
Of course, Chanel must be thinking there could be a link between the arsenic-contaminated water she guzzled and the two cancer crises she’s faced.
Will Johnny come to believe that too as this DOOL storyline heats up?
Regardless, Johnny has been making moves to cover up DiMera Pharmaceuticals’ contaminated pill drama since they were buried on Smith Island, where they ultimately seeped into the water.
Based on the timing of that burial and the fact that arsenic only recently popped up in the regular water testing, Days spoilers suggest Chanel’s cancer may be unrelated.
Even so, that may not stop Johnny from cornering EJ with accusations.
Johnny might deck EJ over this and hold him responsible for Chanel’s illness.
Even if the arsenic didn’t cause Chanel’s cancer shockers, the fact that it could have been to blame may be enough to leave Johnny furious.
Days spoilers hint that it could prompt Johnny’s change of heart and lead to him fully turning against EJ in any battles that might be brewing.
This could come on the heels of Theo Carver’s (Tyler Joseph Andrews) recent EJ warnings and the blame he’s now throwing at Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) for Lexie Carver’s (Nikki Crawford) brain tumor.
Johnny might relate to Theo and team up with him on EJ’s takedown now that his dad is so determined to be Stefano’s mini me.
No matter how it all goes down, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Johnny may decide he’s done playing dirty for EJ, so stay tuned for news on how he might fight back.
