Curtis’ Trial Begins and Portia’s Put In the Hot Seat — Plus, Willow’s Going Full Steam Ahead With Her Plan for Michael

Ava shows up to see Sonny, who wants to know what she did to drive Ethan away. She says she did nothing! They were having a lovely time at the pool when he up and disappeared. Ava doesn’t know where Ethan is, and if she did, she’d be slapping him across the face. She admits Ethan called her from a burner phone and told her that he was gone and wouldn’t be coming back. He even hung up before she could give him a piece of her mind.

Ava and Sonny argue about Ethan GH

Ava then suggests perhaps it was Sonny who drove Ethan away. With Drew up and about, and likely to target Michael again, did he ask Ethan to kill the ex-Congressman?

Tracy Warns Brook Lynn for the Trillionth Time

In the Quartermaine kitchen, Tracy learns Phoebe has been officially adopted, and Brook Lynn expresses her disappointment at Tracy’s absence for the big event. Tracy says she was busy planning their trip to New York for three nights. Brook Lynn refuses to go, and knows this is about Curtis’ trial, which starts today, and her part in the accident.

Brook Lynn and Tracy GH

They have the same conversation we’ve been privy to before. Brook Lynn feels that if she had come forward earlier, Curtis wouldn’t have blamed Isaiah and punched him. Tracy notes Curtis’ temper is to blame, and reminds her granddaughter she didn’t even know there was an accident until much later. She tells Brook Lynn to think what she’d lose if she told the truth. Brook Lynn could lose Trina as an artist, possibly Gio, and for sure Chase, who would never trust her again.

Lucy Gives Serena a Mission

At Bobbie’s, Lucy tells Serena that one of her spies at The Metro Court says Michael is there, and she wants her to pick out her most seductive swimsuit and head there to charm the pants off him. Lucy warns her that Michael can be shrewd, and she needs to be shrewder. Serena is up for the challenge and heads off.

Serena's mission GH

Felicia soon shows up, as Lucy called her because she’s feeling guilty about using Serena to get to Michael and the Deception shares Maxie left him. Felicia thinks she’s being too hard on herself, noting Serena has agency and made the choice to help her mother. Lucy admits she thinks Michael could be the perfect match for Serena.

Another Drama-Filled Day at the Pool

Michael is hanging out with Jacinda at the pool when Willow arrives with Wiley. Wiley asks his dad to swim with him, leaving Willow and Jacinda alone. Willow then tells Jacinda that with her and Drew over, and her living arrangements changing, she doesn’t feel it’s healthy for her children to be around Jacinda and orders her to keep her distance.

Wiley soon rushes up and asks Jacinda to swim with them, but she says she has to change for work. Wiley runs off, and Jacinda tells Willow to try choosing peace for a change.

Willow grabs a seat, and Jack shows up to talk about her really terrible plan to reopen the case of Drew’s shooting. Willow says all the evidence points to Michael, but Jack says they can’t take the risk Anna could recover the traffic cam footage. Willow says it’s a risk worth taking! (Has she forgotten that Kai and Trina know the truth? Or that Drew would obviously be called to testify in a new trial?)

Jack tries to convine Willow GH

Michael returns to Jacinda, and they notice Willow with Jack. Michael knows her cozying up to a WSB agent can’t be good for him. Jacinda then gets a text and has to get to the office, so she heads out.

Meanwhile, Willow tells Wiley to get out of the pool as it’s time to head back to Grandma Nina’s. That’s when Serena waltzes in.

More Disorder In the Court!

In court, Martin speaks with Molly and learns Justine is out of town, so she’s taking over the case. She plans to disclose her relationships to Jordan and Curtis and be fully transparent.

Martin tries to convince her to drop this and give Curtis six months of community service and mandatory anger management classes. He notes everyone involved is family, and this could tear them apart. She reminds him assault is against the law!

Martin and Molly chat GH

Outside the courtroom, Isaiah and Portia arrive, and she is firmly on his side. Curtis and Jordan also arrive, and all parties come face to face. Isaiah urges Curtis to save them the trouble and accept the plea bargain, but Curtis won’t miss the first eight months of his child’s life.

Lucas and Joe arrive, and Lucas urges the men to take a step back. Isaiah says Lucas is right, and he and Portia head inside. Jordan and Curtis follow, and Joe compliments Lucas on that intervention. They chat, and both must testify given Joe was the arresting officer, and Lucas was on duty in the ER that night. Lucas calls the entire situation sad as they are all good people. Joe seems to be unable to take his eyes off Lucas…

Back in court, Molly warns Isaiah to be careful, as Martin will try to bait him into losing his cool, and that will cost them the case. Jordan, meanwhile, urges Portia, for the sake of Dez, to tell the truth: this was a situation that got out of control, and there was blame on both sides. Portia won’t allow Curtis to put the blame for what he did on Isaiah. She’s going to tell the truth.

Molly's speach GH

Court begins with Molly and Martin both giving their opening statements. Molly calls the car accident a red herring, and what this comes down to is assault that caused grievous bodily harm. Martin paints Isaiah as guilty of leaving the scene of a crash, and had he stopped, Jordan could have gotten the help she needed sooner. He also argues that Isaiah provoked Curtis that day at the pool, and the fault lies with Isaiah.

Lucas is the first to testify about Isaiah’s injury and the cause of it. Joe is next, and he details what he saw and overheard, but that he arrived after the assault occurred. Martin tries to argue that Joe overstepped his authority by arresting Curtis instead of de-escalating the situation.

Finally, Portia is called to the stand…

In the Show’s Final Moments

Lucy notes to Felicia that both Serena and Michael have had their fair share of romantic failures. She sees it as kismet that Alan’s grandson could be drawn to her daughter, and she’d be a perfect Quartermaine. Serena could even wear her red wedding dress!

At the pool, Serena watches as Michael says goodbye to Wiley, and Willow asks Michael to ask Jacinda what they talked about and if she can trust her. Michael jumps in the pool, and Serena goes to grab a chair next to Michael… Only she slips on some water and lands right in Jack’s lap!

Sernea in Jack's lap GH

Sonny insists to Ava that he didn’t ask Ethan to do anything to Drew, and not to push him!

Tracy tells Brook Lynn to learn from this experience and carry this secret forever to keep her family intact. Phoebe then cries over the monitor, and Brook Lynn says she’ll protect her family, so Chase can never know what she did.

Outside of court, Lucas checks in on Joe as things got heated for him, but Joe says he’s fine. Lucas says, for the record, he doesn’t think he overstepped in arresting Curtis.

Finally, Portia takes the stand and says Isaiah was trying to leave The Metro Court that day, but Curtis kept goading him until he lost control and punched Isaiah. Molly also gets Portia to say this injury could cost Isaiah his career, and he and only a handful of surgeons can do what Isaiah can.

Molly brings up the young boy whom Isaiah couldn’t perform surgery on, and Portia states there are countless patients who could die in the future because of Curtis’ actions. Objection! Calls for speculation! Okay, Martin didn’t say that, but should have!

Martin then gets to cross-examine and asks how long she and Curtis were married when she began sleeping with Isaiah?

On the next General Hospital, Michael tells Serena there is a huge hurdle she’ll have to overcome. Willow tells Nina this is the strongest position she’ll ever be in. Dante asks Sonny, “If Jason is walking away, who will be in front of you?” Tracy tells Jason, “What am I in for? Good, bad, pack a bag or hide a body?”
