As Electra’s Hissy Fit Reaches New Decibel Levels, Steffy Comes to the Moment of Truth
Thursday, August 20, 2026: Today on The Bold and the Beautiful, Little Lord Fauntleroy R.J. pitches an idea to Zende and Eric, the Waltons reach a new understanding, and Steffy keeps trying to confess to Finn.

As the episode begins, Steffy is still building up to her big confession at the cliff house. Daphne is still in Forrester’s CEO office begging Carter to forgive her. In the design office, Electra is still flinging nastiness at Dylan, even accusing her of having been waiting and watching for the right moment to make her move on Will. In the showroom, Zende is mentoring R.J., who clocks his cousin’s sense of loss over HFTF. Why not start a new line, R.J. asks, with Electra as its face?
R.J. Campaigns For Electra
After the opening credits, R.J. suggests promoting Electra as “the woman who can do anything.” Zende likes the idea, going so far as to say that Forrester needs an injection of youth.

Electra Turns Into the Incredible Hulk
In the design office, Electra works overtime to paint Dylan as an opportunist. Dylan tries to defend herself — she never meant to fall for Will — but Electra isn’t having it. Any of it.

Later, Electra rattles off a litany of Dylan’s “sins.” Dylan tries to point out that Electra dumped Will. “So it’s all my fault?” Electra exclaims. She then rants that she will always love Will — so loudly that Eric is forced to intervene.
Carter Forgives Daphne
In the CEO’s office, Daphne laments that she doesn’t have Carter’s ring on her finger. He doesn’t seem all that keen to slip it back on, but after she promises to wear her ring the way he wears his — as a symbol of their love and commitment — he does so.

“Thank you for giving me another chance,” Daphne tells her husband. She then suggests that they can get through anything together. Carter wants to believe it. (He’s certainly gonna test that theory!)
Steffy Tries to Confess
At the cliff house, Finn assures Steffy she has nothing to apologize for. She keeps trying to get out her secret, but he’s intent on making promises to be the husband she deserves.

Eventually, Steffy gets out that she made a really, really terrible mistake. “I hope we can forgive each other.” Still, she doesn’t say what that mistake was beyond that she “overreacted.”
R.J. and Electra Get Their Way
In the episode’s final moments, Eric admits to Electra that sales at Forrester are “lacking,” thanks to the Spencers daring to start their own fashion house. Natch, he seizes the opportunity to reiterate that she is never to see Will again.

Just then, in comes R.J. to ask Grandpa if he can make Electra the face of a new youth line. “Time to turn the page,” he says, showing Eric his new designs. Nothing’s official, but it’s clear that Electra By Electra Forrester is all but greenlit.
Finn Returns Steffy’s Ring
In the CEO’s office, Daphne continues to make the same promises to Carter. Of course, just then Steffy is getting ready to tell Finn what she and Carter did. Instead of do so, she lets her husband slip her wedding ring back on her finger.

“It’s always been you,” Finn says. “It always will be.” He then insists nothing will ever come between them again and excuses himself to check on a patient. Guess Steffy’s secret isn’t coming out today!
Carter Begs Steffy to Keep Their Secret
At the very end, Carter and Daphne’s moment is interrupted by Steffy. “Be happy for me,” Daphne tells her friend. “I almost made a terrible mistake.” Steffy forces a smile, but she and Carter obvs have some talking to do.

Once Daphne exits, Carter pleads with Steffy not to tell Finn what went down between them. If she does, he fears, they will lose not only their marriages but everything!
