Bold & Beautiful Preview: Steffy and Carter’s Loose Lips May Have Just Sunk Both of Their Relationships

At the tail end of Friday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful (recapped in full here), Steffy and Carter couldn’t help but rehash the details of their deep, dark secret. He was adamant that the two of them never disclose what transpired between them on the fateful night they drunkenly hooked up on the couch in the Forrester Creations CEO’s office. But she insisted that she couldn’t — and wouldn’t — lie to Finn.

Hush, Hush, Keep It Down Now, Voices Carry

Their argument grew so heated that Ridge overheard — even from behind a closed door. (And props to the remorseful lovers for at least having had the foresight to shut it!) In a flash, the dressmaker burst into the room and demanded to know WTH was going on. Considering that Carter is sure Ridge would never forgive him for sleeping with his married daughter, it seems highly unlikely that either he or Steffy will spill the beans — not just then, anyway.

The Secret’s a Ticking Time Bomb

But how long can Steffy and Carter’s secret possibly remain a secret? They’re both wracked by guilt — and Steffy so much so that she can’t bear the weight of withholding the truth from Finn. Daphne has vowed that nothing will ever again come between her and her husband. However, she might change her tune when she finds out that her dear old friend spent the night with Carter.

Any way you slice it, we’re in for some mouth-wateringly juicy drama. And given the urgency with which Steffy wants to unburden herself to Finn, we have a hunch it won’t be long before the fit hits the shan.
