Sonny's big decision GH

In court, Martin asks Portia how long she was sleeping with Isaiah while married to Curtis. Portia objects, which Martin says, “You can’t do that!” She says her personal life has nothing to do with her ex-husband assaulting Dr. Gannon. The judge warns she could be held in contempt and then tells Martin to make his point and move on.

Will Curtis Go to Jail?

Martin forces the point that Portia cheated on Curtis after three years of marriage, but Portia says she and Curtis were estranged when she began seeing Isaiah. Martin then gets Portia to admit that before Curtis punched Isaiah, Isaiah stated he’d be a better father to his child than Curtis would. Martin calls that provoking, and Molly objects due to speculation.

Molly questions Portia and points out that while Portia had moved on with Isaiah, Curtis moved on with Jordan. Molly also asks if Isaiah threatened Curtis, which Portia says he didn’t. When asked who threw the punch, Portia states it was Curtis.

Isaiah is next on the stand, and he describes the injuries to his hand and his inability to perform surgery currently, including a lifesaving liver transplant for a child. Molly asks if he’ll be able to operate again, and Isaiah says he doesn’t know.

Isaiah takes the stand GH

Martin cross-examines, and Isaiah admits he was on Rt. 91 to see a patient, who is protected by HIPAA. Martin brings up the car he drives, and the repairs he had to it around the time of Jordan and Curtis’ accident, which is why Martin notes Curtis might conclude he was in the other car. Molly objects, and Martin asks if he intentionally provoked Curtis the night of the assault. Isaiah says he only made a statement he believed to be true.

Jordan takes the stand GH

Jordan is next on the stand and asked to describe her injuries to the court. She also recounts Isaiah visiting her in the hospital, which she didn’t ask him to, and suspects it was his guilt. Molly cross-examines, and also points out she and Isaiah used to be friends, so he may have visited her out of concern. She also brings up that Jordan used to be the police commissioner, and the lack of basic evidence that exists to charge Isaiah with any wrongdoing.

Curtis on the stand GH

Finally, Martin calls Curtis to the stand and asks why Curtis believes Isaiah was the other car that night. Curtis lists all the circumstantial evidence he’s been rambling on to anyone who will listen for the past few months. Martin asks why he punched Isaiah that night. Curtis says he believes Isaiah left him and Jordan for dead, and is actively trying to push him out of his own family. Molly cross-examines, and Curtis admits Isaiah made no physical threats towards him the night of the punch.

Tracy Is Proud of Jason

In the Quartermaine kitchen, Tracy was summoned to see Jason, who tells her that he quit working for Sonny. Tracy notes this has happened before, so why is this time different? Jason says there was no fallout or fight; he’s just done.

Tracy asks why now? Jason explains it’s Danny; he’s all he has with Sam gone. Jason thought moving Danny in here would be enough, but he deserves a better father. Jason says he has to set a better example and has to be here to steer him away from the wrong paths in life. Tracy is moved, as what Jason wants for Danny is what Alan and Monica wanted for him.

In the Show’s Final Moments

In court, Molly and Martin make their closing arguments in Curtis’ trial.

At Bobbie’s, Jack tells Laura the WSB didn’t want to make any more waves in town and with the DA than it already has, so they’re letting the local jurisdiction deal with Sidwell. However, he’ll have her back if she feels Sidwell is still a threat. Laura says she’ll hold him to that.

At home, Jason admits to Tracy he’s worried making this change could be too late. Tracy says take it from her, it’s never too late to change. If she can, so can he.

At Sonny’s, Dante asks what brought this on? Sonny says Sidwell’s fall has opened opportunities he’s taking advantage of. Dante never thought he’d see this day. Sonny never thought he’d see the day where he no longer had to worry about his work compromising Dante’s badge, and they embrace.
