Bold & Beautiful’s Hope has been under so much stress lately, even we were ready to faint after Brooke left in Friday’s episode (recapped in full here). What’s wrong with Logan’s new “visionary”? Was she just exhausted? Emotionally spent? Or is something more serious going on?

Knock wood, we should find out the week of July 6-10. But alas, the promo the soap just dropped offers nary a clue. Instead, it serves up a reminder of just how self-absorbed Electra is. She’s still weeping and wailing to Will about him having the unmitigated gall to do his job and keep company secrets from her.

In fact, Electra goes so far as to jump on the bandwagon that’s trashing Logan as a whole. “It’s all just scandal,” she hisses, a scandal that “you helped create! How could you?”

Actually, we also wonder how Will helped create, frankly, anything; he never seems to work, he’s just… there. Anyway, snit fit on pause, Electra turns to leave again. When Will tries to stop her — bro, why when you have this waiting?!? — R.J. appears out of nowhere to thump his chest and get all protective of his cousin/crush. “Let her go,” he orders Will. This oughta go well!

Dollar Bill Cashes In

Over at Spencer Publications, Bill delights in welcoming nemesis Ridge to the site of Logan’s triumph. “There is new royalty in L.A. fashion,” Katie’s spouse gloats. But Ridge… Well, you’ll see. He looks typically unimpressed.

Taylor Breaks Bad News

Finally, Sheila, Taylor and Deacon are back again, picking up right where they left off with the psycho offering to sign divorce papers in exchange for quality time with Finn and Hayes. “Did you speak to Steffy about allowing me into the family?” she asks.

In response, Taylor says, “You know as well as I do that it’s impossible.”

That is, for now it’s impossible. We have a feeling that after this twist takes place, things are going to turn out very differently.
