At Logan, Hope asks for Brooke’s forgiveness. Her mother is sure that day will come… but it’s not today. She doesn’t even recognize her. “I’ve never been betrayed more by anybody in my entire life! My own daughter!” Melodramatic much?!

Shuddering, Brooke decides they are going to leave this den of thievery. “You’re coming home with me.” Hope tells her she’s not. She, Liam and Beth are moving out and going to live with Katie and Bill. Brooke is gobsmacked.

Brooke, unsurprisingly, tries telling Hope it’s not going to happen. She’s not leaving and taking her precious granddaughter. Hope informs her mom that she committed to Katie, her husband, and most importantly, to herself. This is a new chapter of her life. Brooke accuses her of stabbing them in the back at Forrester and then leaving the family. She grits, “Fine, Hope. Why don’t you go live with my sister and Bill… and become a Spencer while you’re at it?!”

In the office, Bill stops Liam from going to check on Hope. His son worries their relationship will never be the same again. Katie thinks Brooke treats her like a possession, not a daughter. Liam doesn’t think Hope can take much more of this. He really wants to go defend his wife.

Back in the showroom, Hope complains that Steffy always had a stiletto on her neck and everyone at Forrester let it happen. Where was her mother when she was being insulted and pushed out. She’s done. “You choose Ridge’s side every single time, and so, if you’re not going to choose me, I’ve got to choose myself.” That’s why she has to break out on her own. She hates that it hurt her. Brooke intones, “But you did it anyway.”

Number One Fan

In the backstage area, Deke’s chatting with Alison about the show when a flower delivery comes… it’s Remy in a hat, glasses and fake mustache.

Remy tells Alison they go way back, so she leaves them to talk after complimenting Deke on his line. Remy, pulling off the disguise, tells his ex he’s the talk of the town and pulls him into a kiss.

Remy gushes and Deke can’t help but smile. Remy knows how hard he’s worked to make his dreams come true. “I’m just so happy for you, Deke.” More kissing ensues, but Deke eventually puts on the brakes. He’s sorry, but Remy can’t be there… he can’t be in his life. Remy frowns, “Are you saying goodbye?” Deke gently protests, “It’s for the best… I’m moving on.” Remy cries, “Deke, I love you.” He’ll give him his space, but he’ll never give up on them. Uh oh, this sounds familiar.

Me First

At the beach house, Electra rails at Will for keeping secrets. “Why didn’t you tell me?!” Will wanted to, but he was sworn to secrecy. He protests that it’s just business. Electra doesn’t care… she’s his girlfriend and should come first!

Electra fumes that Will respects his dad more than her. Will wants to just move on, but she snivels that everything is messed up now. Ridge has put her jewelry line on hold. “I could lose my career over this!” Her future is at stake, and he did nothing to help her!

The Final Scenes

Electra rants that Will told her she came first; they came first. Will agrees and finds it ridiculous that Forrester shelved her line over this. Electra announces she’s leaving. She can’t do this anymore. Will says, “Stop,” and pulls her into a kiss. “I love you. This is our home. Don’t leave it. Don’t leave me, I beg of you.” He apologizes again and pleads with her to says he understands.

As Liam paces in the Logan office, worrying about Hope losing her mother, down in the showroom, Brooke reiterates that Hope she betrayed her. Hope didn’t want it to come to this… she didn’t want to leave Forrester but they gave her no choice. Crying, Hope explains she had to go somewhere she was valued, heard and respected.

Brooke tells Hope that Katie used her as a chess piece and she allowed it. Hope disagrees. Her husband is there, her brother is there, her future is there. Brooke can’t get past her going to Katie instead of her and packs for a guilt trip. “I gave birth to you!” Sobbing, Brooke rails about the depth of pain Hope is causing her. Her own daughter has betrayed her!! “You shattered me to pieces! You broke my heart!” Hope goes to comfort her, but Brooke runs out. Hope gasps, climbs up on the runway, holds her chest as her heartbeats loudly… and collapses.
