Chanel Comes to a Shocking Conclusion — Plus, Stephanie May Have Just Made a Marriage-Killing Mistake!
Friday, July 10, 2026: Today on Days of Our Lives, Stephanie makes a huge mistake, Leo is ready to move on, and a connection is made that could indicate EJ’s actions may have led to Chanel’s cancer!
When they cross paths at the pub, Leo takes a break from obsessing over Pedro Pascal to chat with Javi. Leo is touched by his ex’s concern, but Javi makes it clear that’s all it is. However, when Leo suffers a headache and dizzy spell — taking things way over the top by acting as if the Brady Pub is Cheers — Javi can’t help but be worried. But realizing his ex is playing games, Javi suggests that the best way to feel better — physically and mentally — is to get over him… and start by removing his wedding ring.
Should Alex Be In Charge?
Alex is understandably skeptical upon finding out that Philip and Xander’s big plan to save Titan involves Gabi’s inheritance. Asked if he has a better idea, Alex claims he does! But before sharing, he makes both of them acknowledge they’re the reason the company is in big trouble. He then pitches that for the good of the company, he should be put int he top slot. Unlike them, he is respected by the investors, in part because “I never faked my own death or forged my way into an inheritance.” (Good point, Alex!)

Xander leaves to meet with Sarah, while Philip tells Alex that if he needs help in dealing with Joy, he’s available. After all, he promised Chloe he’d keep an eye on her sis. Philip reluctantly acknowledges that Alex is an asset to the company.
Oh, Stephanie, No!

Picking up Alex’s phone, Stephanie sees that Joy is calling and texting because she’s stuck on the side of the road. Annoyed, Stephanie… oh, girl, don’t do it! Yup, she deletes the message. Steve comes by, wanting to apologize to Stephanie for the trauma she went through as a child. She points out that he didn’t ask to be forcibly removed from their lives, and that she’s no longer a little girl needing protection. Later, Alex returns home to retrieve the phone he’d left behind earlier and, of course, Joy immediately calls asking for help.
Things Look bad For EJ!
Sarah admits to Brady that she’s struggling with the way Holly spoke to her when questioned about the Coriseal. She also tells him that the toxicology reports indicate that Destiny’s blood contained Coriseal, but no arsenic. Brady questions whether or not the test results might be wrong. Connecting the pieces, he points out that EJ — who happens to own the hospital — wouldn’t have too tough a time altering a test result. He realizes the best way to get answers is to press Johnny for the DiMera files.

Brady meets with Johnny to tell him what he’s hoping for, and Sarah gets together with Xander. He shares what he learned from Kristen — that the only way a batch of so tightly controlled a narcotic could be unaccounted for was if there were two sets of books. She condones him “coloring outside the lines” to get information, but will not endorse violence. (Way to send him mixed messages yet again, Sarah!) As for Johnny, he insists EJ would never do what Brady’s accusing him of.
Chanel Gets a New Look

Waking from a nap, Chanel shares with Johnny that her pillow was covered with hair. Clearly feeling insecure, she gets him to once again promise he’ll love her no matter what. He presents her with several wigs but scores big-time hubby points by saying if she loses all her hair and opts not to wear a wig, she’ll still be beautiful.
In the Final Moments…

Once alone, Leo does exactly that, admitting he has no one to blame but himself. Stephanie is horrified when Alex shares the reason Joy called: Her spare tire blew and she had an accident with Kelsey in the back seat! She asks if they’re alright and he barks, “As if you care!” on his way out the door. Steve tells Brady that he looked at the surveillance footage from outside Sarah’s office and, sure enough, there’s a blind spot. Either someone got lucky or they knew how to avoid the camera. After talking to Steve, Brady compares notes with Xander and Sarah, leaving them all to wonder if Johnny is covering for his father. And when Johnny tells Chanel about arsenic being in the well water, she connects the dots and comes to a shocking realization: Her cancer might be a result of the arsenic!
