Steffy Shares a Charged Moment With Carter as Finn Grows Increasingly Frantic to Find Her
Monday, August 17, 2026: Today on The Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge lets Finn have it, Finn books a flight, and Steffy and Carter’s commisseration takes a turn.

At Forrester, Carter holds Steffy’s hand and notices her wedding ring is missing. She admits she left it in Monaco. “I left my husband.”
Steffy explains she can’t trust Finn, not about Sheila, not about anything. She explains she couldn’t go home like this; she’s exhausted. Carter’s stunned to hear that Finn and Sheila flew to Monaco together and he didn’t tell her. He’s choosing the problem, so she’ll protect her kids. “It’s over. We’re over.”

In Monaco, Finn, Ridge, and Brooke are still wondering where Steffy has gone. Ridge starts bellowing that he could have kept Sheila away from his wife like he promised! Finn protests, but Ridge isn’t hearing him. Brooke jumps in to back up her husband. Ridge can’t understand why he didn’t warn Steffy. Finn was trying to keep her happy. Ridge hollers that the only person that’s happy is Sheila!
Back at Forrester, Steffy tells Carter to pour her a drink too. He hands it to her as she goes over Finn knowing Sheila was there and not even warning her. Carter commiserates. Marriage is supposed to be about trust. “It’s like nothing you say gets through.” Steffy gasps, “Yes.” Carter understands she just wants to be free of the woman who shot them. Recapping Finn defending Sheila, Steffy declares that she’s lost all faith in her husband.

Back in Monaco, Brooke’s rescheduled their meeting and Finn still hasn’t heard from Steffy. He recaps all of the emotions Steffy went through from chapel to shoreline. Brooke’s stunned to see she took off her wedding rings. Ridge declares, “You’re in trouble, son.” Finn knows, but he won’t let this destroy them. “I’ve got to find her.”
At Forrester, Steffy paces the room replaying the shift in Finn in Monaco when he saw Sheila. He wasn’t going to protect her, so she left him and her rings there. Carter tears up when she talks about loyalty and commitment and she asks, “What’s wrong?” Carter grits, “Daphne, she left me. She’s on her way home to Paris.” She can’t be with him. He pulls out her wedding ring. “She’s gone. It’s over.”

In Monaco, Finn guesses Steffy went back to LA. Ridge rants about him letting his daughter down. Finn feels terrible. Ridge hollers at him to wake up and feel better. When Brooke asks if Sheila will go after the kids, Finn defends her. Ridge is exasperated. Finn know she can’t have any part in his life! He knows he screwed up and it won’t happen again! Ridge grunts that he’ll have to convince his wife.

At Forrester, Steffy learns that Daphne left because she can’t have children. He gave her everything; every ounce of his soul. But she just gave up and walked out. Steffy’s so sorry. Carter meant his vows; he’d have protected her, but now she’s gone. How could she just give up on them?
The Final Scenes
In Monaco, Finn books a flight back to LA, and Ridge offers their driver to take him to the airport. He apologizes for yelling, but he has a blind spot about Sheila. His dad finally saw the light. “I need you to see the light.”
Finn can’t forget the scene on the beach. He crushed Steffy, not Sheila. He’ll do whatever it takes to make this right. He has a terrible feeling – he has to get to Steffy before something happens that tears them even further apart.

Back at Forrester, Carter’s still moaning about Daphne and drinking. Steffy’s commiserating about betrayal and drinking. Crying, Steffy says she doesn’t want to feel alone. She can only take so much more. “I’m done. I can’t do this anymore.” She works herself up into hysterics and Carter takes her in his arms. “I’ve got you.”

Suddenly, the air becomes charged between them as they look into each other’s eyes… and the swanky music starts playing…
